Characters

Boing Country

The Boing Country is filled with round good-natured country people who roll wherever they go. They are archetypal farmers, a bit Hobbit-like, quite small but really nice and wholesome.

Cutie

Cutie is a non-binary character. They are about 10 years old. They are round, and rolling around, and as the name suggest: really darn cute.

Mommy

Rosie

She is Cutie's older sister; a teenager in a bit of a rebellious phase.

PomPunn Island

The characters of the Island are half way between Hawaiian, Japanese and Jamaican people. They are triangular.

Baba PomPunn

She is the village elder. Grey-haired, wrinkled, soulful.

Feerfook City

Lady Jam

Is a 50-something woman, elegant, very corporate. Squared.

Boing Country

Landscape

Boing Country is a lush and luxurious back country, populated by a peace loving and nature nurturing people. The are vegetarian, more of a gatherer type than agricultural and the landscape is made of valleys and hills, kind of like the Shire. Here and there stands a simple windmill - the kind you may find in Greece.

Otherwise, they have beautiful, majestic trees, strong waterfalls and vast grassy fields. The whole of Boing Country is built on the nature that grew from the ruins of a former great civilisation whose artefacts can still be seen around.

PomPunn Island

Landscape

PomPunn Island is a snowy place, full of good-natured, hard-working characters. It's the vibrant place where most people work in the mines. Yet, the beach starts to be polluted by the polyploop mine we visit and the white snow slowly turns to greyish black slugge.

Geographically, it looks like a volcanic island, like Hawaii or Polynesia. Although, obviously, not tropical. It has Icelandic type vegetation and rocks.

Weather

The weather in PomPunn Island is snowy, greyish sunset, with variable snowfalls. Most of it is caves though, so... it's mostly dark.

FeerFook City

Landscape

FeerFook City is mostly a big factory. The people there are tired, worker type, with little spirit and energy.

They have become almost part of the assembly line. Very steampunk at its core.

The city seems to mostly use trees as part of the industry, turning the wood into fire for energy, and making almost everything out of Polyploop and Charchau.

Weather

FeerFook City in drowning in rain, thick fog and yellowish night light through pollution and artificial light.

Final Set Piece

The final level is Lady Jam's lair. She lives in a giant greenhouse, where the last Fluffberry trees grow. They are mostly used as source for wood, so you have to jump on the to collect the last fluffberries before they are cut down and destroyed.

The greenhouse is a mesh of glass and steel, pretty steampunk.
